Join the WeeBe Pilot: A Safe Space to Talk & Connect

You are not Alone!

We all have moments when we wish we had someone to talk to—someone who understands, listens, and connects without judgment. That’s why we’re testing a new way to bring people together for real, meaningful conversations. WeeBe.org is launching a small pilot program with a limited group—10 Bees and 10 Keepers — to help shape a safe and supportive space where people can connect and talk without pressure, stigma, or expectations. If you’ve ever felt alone and wished for someone to chat with, this could be for you.

What to Expect in the Pilot...

If you sign up as a Bee, here’s how the pilot will work:

  • Click the Get Involved link and let us know you’re interested.
  • One of our team members will get in touch for a short call to introduce the project and answer any questions.
  • If you decide to move forward, we’ll send you a sign-up form to complete.
  • Our team member will coordinate with you to schedule next steps once the pilot is commenced.
  • The team member will discuss anonymous profiles of Keepers (our friendly conversation partners).
  • Choose the Keeper who feels like the best fit for you based on shared interests.
  • A moderator will join the first call (audio-only, NO VIDEO).
  • No personal details are/should be shared—this is a safe and private space.
  • Calls are audio-only and recorded for research purposes (but not shared outside the project).
  • The moderator will introduce both of you, set some ground rules, and suggest icebreaker topics.
  • You’ll have a 45-minute to 1-hour conversation, with the moderator ensuring a smooth experience.
  • After the call, the moderator will check in separately with you and your Keeper to hear your thoughts.
  • You’ll have two more scheduled conversations with your Keeper, without a moderator.
  • These calls are about open, relaxed conversations—talk about whatever feels comfortable.
  • Each call will be audio-only and recorded for research purposes (but not shared outside the project).
  • After each call, we’ll check in with you for feedback on the experience.
  • After the final call, you’ll have the chance to share your thoughts on what worked, what didn’t, and how we can improve.
  • Your experience will help shape WeeBe.org into something more meaningful for people who need it most.

The entire pilot takes about 3 weeks, with three 45 to 60-minute calls. There’s no obligation beyond that—just an opportunity to connect and help create something new.

FAQ's

This is for anyone who feels lonely, disconnected, or just wants a friendly, open conversation with someone who listens. You don’t need to be struggling deeply—you just need to be open to talking.

That’s completely okay! There’s no pressure—if at any point you decide this isn’t for you, you can opt out. The goal is to create a positive, safe, and comfortable space.

Keepers are carefully selected and vetted volunteers who are here to listen and talk. They come from different backgrounds but share a common goal: to provide a safe, supportive space for conversation.

Yes! We take privacy seriously:
✔️ No personal details are shared—conversations are based on common interests.
✔️ No video calls—audio-only for comfort and ease.
✔️ Calls are recorded only for internal research purposes (not shared publicly).

Not yet. WeeBe is currently in the early pilot stage, and this project is part of shaping what it will become. Our goal is to develop a sustainable platform that truly helps people, whether that means forming a nonprofit, a social enterprise, or another structure that ensures trust, transparency, and impact.

We understand that trust is important. Here’s what we can share:

  • The pilot is completely free—we are not asking for money or any personal details.
  • Calls are conducted with moderators present initially to ensure a safe and structured experience.
  • You can opt out at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
  • This is a new service and our priority is to learn and build the right thing that is required by you, and we welcome open feedback at every step along with our partners, and advisors.

Once the pilot is complete, we will:

No, the pilot is completely free. We just ask for your honest feedback on the experience.
