WeeBe.org provides a safe, anonymous peer-to-peer conversation platform designed to reduce loneliness and support mental wellbeing through non-therapeutic, non-clinical conversation. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, truthful profile information including any details required for identification and verification purposes (e.g., name, date of birth, location, legal photo ID document).
  • Inform WeeBe.org promptly of any changes to this information, such as a change of address or contact details.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Refrain from using the platform for romantic, financial, or exploitative purposes.
  • Follow all posted policies including the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Safeguarding Policy.
  • Maintain anonymity at all times. You must not disclose any personal information that could allow someone to identify or locate you in the real world or online. This includes, but is not limited to, your full name, address, phone number, email, social media handles, or images.

Violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination without notice.

4. Content & Conduct

WeeBe.org reserves the right to monitor, record (with consent), and moderate conversations for safety and research. Inappropriate content or behaviour may result in account suspension or removal.

You may not:

  • Impersonate another person
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any participant
  • Share misleading or illegal content
  • Solicit personal information or promote other services

5. Termination

WeeBe.org may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or any policy, without prior notice.

6. Data And Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines what data we collect and how we use it. By using WeeBe.org, you consent to this collection and use.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Community Guidelines

1. Respect Anonymity At All Times

3. This Is Not A Dating Platform

WeeBe.org is not a romantic or dating service.
Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Proposing or initiating romantic connections
  • Asking to meet outside the platform

Such behaviour is considered a violation and will result in removal from the platform.

4. Keep Conversations Safe And Appropriate

While conversations can be meaningful and deep, please avoid:

  • Graphic or violent content
  • Discussions involving illegal activity
  • Sharing any form of health, medical, financial, legal. Illegal, product or service advice
  • Triggering or distressing language without appropriate context

If you ever feel uncomfortable during a conversation, you are encouraged to report it and/or exit the session.

5. Follow Moderator Guidance

Moderators are here to ensure a safe and respectful space. During the pilot and beta phase:

  • Some conversations may be moderated
  • All participants must follow the instructions of the moderator
  • Feedback provided is confidential and used to improve the platform

6. Use The Platform With Purpose

WeeBe is a community-driven project. Use the space with intention:

  • To listen or be heard
  • To engage in thoughtful, meaningful dialogue
  • To build confidence, connection, and mutual understanding

7. Reporting & Accountability

If you experience or witness a violation of these guidelines:

  • Report the user through the appropriate channel (form or moderator)
  • WeeBe.org reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts for any breach of the guidelines
  • Repeated or severe breaches will result in permanent removal

Introduction

WeeBe.org is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all users. Scope Of The Policy

This policy applies to all individuals involved in WeeBe.org activities, including:

  • Bees (those seeking connection)
  • Keepers (those offering empathetic support)
  • Mental Health Professionals
  • Moderators and volunteers
  • Platform administrators and team members

It covers all interactions that occur on the platform and any events or correspondence related to pilot programs, beta testing, or partnerships.

Our Safeguarding Principles

WeeBe.org follows the principles of:

  1. Recognising Safeguarding Concerns

Safeguarding concerns may arise from:

  • Disclosures of abuse (emotional, physical, sexual, financial, neglect)
  • Self-harm or suicidal thoughts
  • Inappropriate or predatory behaviour from another user
  • Signs of distress, fear, or emotional withdrawal
  • Repeated violations of platform rules or boundaries

All concerns—no matter how small they may appear—must be taken seriously.

Reporting A Concern

For Users:

All reports will be treated with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Responding To A Safeguarding Concern

When a concern is reported:

  1. A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) will review the report.
  2. The DSL may gather further context from moderators or recordings.
  3. A risk assessment will be made.
  4. Appropriate action will be taken, which may include:
    • Offering support resources
    • Suspending or terminating a user account
    • Referring the concern to external agencies if necessary (e.g. adult safeguarding, emergency services)

WeeBe.org will act in accordance with UK safeguarding legislation and best practices.

Anonymity & Limitations

While WeeBe.org values anonymity, safeguarding takes precedence in situations where:

  • There is serious risk of harm to self or others
  • There is disclosure of abuse or criminal activity
  • WeeBe.org is legally required to share information with appropriate authorities

Users will be made aware during onboarding that absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed in safeguarding situations.

Training And Awareness

  • All moderators, staff, and keepers will receive safeguarding awareness training.
  • The Safeguarding Policy will be reviewed and updated annually.
  • Regular refreshers and scenario-based learning will be encouraged.

Confidentiality & Record Keeping

All safeguarding reports are:

  • Logged securely
  • Accessible only to the Safeguarding Team
  • Stored in accordance with our Data Protection Policy
  • Reviewed regularly to identify any emerging patterns or concerns
